 MRI Applications Specialist

Position: MRI Applications Specialist
Start Time: As soon as possible
Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

As a MRI Applications Specialist for Sentinelle Medical you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of support to our customers. In this position your roles will include, but will not be limited to: demonstration of the Vanguard to prospective customers at luminary sites, presentation of scientific lectures at conferences and customer sites and providing an in depth training program to new users. You will also be involved in our internal clinical research, responsible for designing and organizing an international breast MR course and an extremely important liaison between our customers and our development team.

We believe that great products can always be improved and we will be relying on your ability to create relationships with our customers and relay their feedback in a clear and concise way to our engineering team. Your experience of working in a breast MR department which performs MR guided biopsies will be a definite asset to your application. This position will require travel in Canada and the USA.

 RF Engineer

Position: RF Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for applicants who have demonstrated leadership, dedication and capacity to innovate in their work in MRI RF design and development. The individual will be involved with concept development, design, testing and production of MRI RF antennas.

Requirements:

  • Minimally 4+ years MRI experience.

Position: Director of European Sales and Applications

Sentinelle Medical Inc. (SMI), an innovative new manufacturer of MR coils, patient support/stretcher systems and software systems for MR, is seeking an experienced leader to manage the build out of SMI’s European Sales and Applications Support organization. SMI has strong relationships with a number of the major MR manufacturers and has plans to enter international markets in the latter half of 2008. Based in Switzerland, the Director of European Sales and Applications will be an integral member of SMI’s management team and will focus on significantly enhancing Sentinelle’s relationships with customers and vendors in the European market. Responsibilities

  • Establish SMI’s European presence.
  • Lead the introduction of product to new European market.
  • Develop and manage technical and applications support structure for Europe.

 Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Position: Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Job Description

Sentinelle Medical, an innovative new manufacturer of MR coils, patient support/stretcher systems and software systems for MR, is currently seeking a highly-motivated Regulatory Affairs Specialist with a minimum of 3-5 years experience preferably in medical devices. Based in Toronto, the successful candidate will be an integral member of the Quality & Regulatory team and will focus on securing regulatory approvals for products entering world-wide markets.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare regulatory plans for new and ongoing product development projects and provide support to product development teams.
  • Prepare guidelines and regulatory submissions according to all applicable regulatory requirements (FDA, Health Canada, CE Marking, MHLW etc.).
  • Prepare and communicate regulatory timeline for product development projects.
  • Assist with all regulatory requirements including customer complaints, labeling requirements and documentation standards.
  • Maintain current knowledge on medical device regulations for all applicable countries.
  • Collect and maintain predicate device information.
  • Assist with clinical evaluations and obtaining beta agreements and feedback.
  • Assist product teams with improving validation/verification activities.
  • Assist with supplier audits, internal audits, customer audits.
  • Provide other related duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in a regulated environment – preferably medical devices.

 Field Service Representative

Position: Field Service Representative - Medical Imaging

The Field Service Representative will be an integral member of Sentinelle’s service and will be responsible for enhancing Sentinelle’s relationships with customers and vendors by providing high quality service support. Responsibilities

  • Perform and document: installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on medical systems involving mechanical, electrical, and software components.
  • Provide frequent and clear communication with customers as well as MRI OEM’s in order to facilitate timely installations as well as on-going safe and effective use of our systems.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures, company policies, ethical conduct and safe work practices.
  • Manage an individual schedule for travel and on-site visit times.
  • Minimize expenses to the company.
  • Manage assigned service tool kits and spare parts inventory.
  • Provide timely recording of data into the service database and report engineering issues to design and manufacturing teams.
  • Promote service contracts to customers and ensure compliance to agreements.
  • Communicate regularly with sales, the customer contact coordinator and all other internal departments to promote cross departmental collaboration.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of service experience with electromechanical devices, preferably in the medical devices market.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be willing to travel in Canada and the United States with short notice.
  • Ability to relate professionally to all levels of hospital personnel.
  • A proven ability to adapt quickly in order to manage multiple and conflicting demands, while executing on time with high customer satisfaction.

  • Develop, maintain and revise, as appropriate, all technical manuals such as user guides and service manuals in an approved format that meets all regulatory and corporate requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare and release all manual amendments, technical notes and or advisories from information provided by the various technical departments within the organization.
  • Manage the translation services and release of all technical manuals, amendments and technical notes in the various languages as required by the regulatory bodies where the company does business and or as requested by the Director, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs or Director of Customer Services or Chief Operating Officer.
  • Create all Document Change Orders as appropriate for the technical documentation under the scope of the Technical Writer.
  • Continually seek new methods, formats and processes to improve the delivery of company user and service technician documentation to end users.
  • Anticipate changes that will require revisions or amendments in supporting documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
